Intuitive guidance

When I started to write about taking my downtime, I realized I am not interested in the well-planned self-care that every other person is talking about in the market. I myself have tried them many a time but often gave up in between. I don't want something like that to happen this time. So, I was searching for one thing that makes the difference and makes my self-care my personal stuff, unique and made for me only types. 
This is the place where intuitive guidance works. I happened to refer to two books to understand this topic better, and both have contributed a lot in making this topic even more meaningful. 
In this fast-paced life, we often find ourselves racing and forgetting ourselves. This is the point to have a heart-based awareness, or heart intelligence, which is the key to managing our personal and planetary changes in speed. 
We have heard these metaphors: "Listen to your heart," "Go to your heart for answers, and Put your heart into it." You must have often struggled with head intelligence, which is much more logical and systematic. On a softer note, there is another intelligence called "heart intelligence," which is connected with our wisdom. Whenever we are in a conflicting situation, we keep flipping from head to heart and heart to head and ultimately settle with heart intelligence. So in heart intelligence we come across a flow of awareness, understanding, and intuitive guidance when our mind and emotions are aligned with our heart. 
Though I believe in intuition and gut feelings because I have seen them work, I never thought that it was a scientifically explored topic. In the book Heart Intelligence, they have shown that the heart receives the information before the brain receives it. The energetic heart sends messages to the physical heart. The physical heart then passes this information to the brain, especially to the parts that handle emotions and decision-making.
The more we are in the heart coherent state, the more we can access our intuitive intelligence. Intuition is the voice of who we really are. Spending a few minutes several times a day practicing heart coherence helps align our thoughts and emotions, making it easier to respond wisely and effectively to whatever life brings—whether it’s a challenge, an ordinary moment, or a creative opportunity. We can do this by following the Heart Lock-In Technique.
Step 1: Gently focus your attention on your heart area. Imagine your breath flowing in and out through your heart or chest, breathing a little slower and deeper than normal.
Step 2: Bring up a positive feeling like appreciation, care, or compassion, and try to hold onto it.
Step 3: Send that positive feeling outward, first to yourself and then to others.

In the other book, Consult your inner psyche, 
Step 1: Familiarize yourself with the twelve energies
1. The observer
2. The soloist
3. The producer
4. The voter
5. The warrior
6. The nurturer
7. The seeker
8. The communicator
9. The lover
10. The peacemaker
11. The devotee
12. The healer

Step 2: Then familiarize yourself with the four states of being
1. Moving forward
2. Retreating from
3. Birth and creation
4. Still in the essence of

Step 3: Combine an energy and a state of being

These all steps will bring you the the message you need to hear at this moment. 
1. Ask a question about your life.
2. Consult your psychic inner guidance to discover which of the Twelve Energies you need to connect with at this time. Simply glance at the list of Twelve Energies on pages 28 and 29 and notice which one you feel drawn to.
3. Ask your psychic inner guidance which of the Four States of Being you need to combine with the energy you have chosen.
Consider:
Do you need to move forward into this energy?
Do you need to retreat from this energy?
Do you need to ask for new birth and creation within this energy?
Or do you need to be still in the pure essence of this energy?

Allow your inner guidance to direct you to one of the Four States of Being, and then combine it with your chosen energy.

For example, if you are drawn to the energy called The Observer, you would choose one of the following combinations:

Observer—Moving Toward
Observer—Retreating From
Observer—Birth and Creation
Observer—Still in the Essence Of

4. Once you have identified both the Energy and the State of Being, turn to the list of messages beginning on page 67 to locate the message associated with your Energy–State of Being combination. Then go to the indicated page, read the written message, and listen to the corresponding music track listed at the top of the page.

As you read and listen, allow your psychic inner guidance to show you how the message relates to the question you asked. Notice any words or phrases that stand out, and pay attention to any thoughts or impressions that arise in connection to your question.

5. If you wish, keep a written record. Write down the question you asked, the energy–state of being combination you selected, and the page number of the message. After reading and reflecting on the message and music, you may also want to write down any insights, feelings, or thoughts that come to you as part of the experience.

When I try to do these things, I am able to connect to my intuitive intelligence. We all are unique pieces on this Earth, so how can our self-care be the same? Everyone has a different need operation at that moment, so combinations will be different. Hence, we need to follow our intuitive guidance to understand what we need at this moment.
