Receeding clouds of confusion
This poem is inspired by the poem " If you forget me " by Pablo Neruda. I have borrowed the first line of each stanza (except the last) from this poem. Love has always been my theme of poems, and Pablo Neruda is one of my favorites, so I included this poem. I want you to know that I am not just another flower in the garden whom you see and pass along. You know how this is: when you especially come to grab a chance to even peek in and satiate your burning desire with the glimpse of the one you admire. Well, now, as you are not so very eager to mark me as your own girl I take it like a reserve fill waiting for my turn if someone falls. If suddenly the wheels of my destiny swirls and brings me a chance I might make it to the goal which bags the crown to our home. If you think it long and mad why did this happen in your land?
