Showing posts with the label happiness

This you just can't ignore

This was the long-awaited post on my part. I was busy with A2Z and my own works, so it got delayed but in order to honor this, I share this goodness. I will begin with this quote:  "Be the reason someone believes in the goodness of people." Karen Salmonsohn The loads of kindness and goodness are always less than the burdens of unkindness and soreness we face. These bitterness make us worst and worst, stealing our true selves. None of us wants to be bad, but past experiences always stop us from doing good. There was a time in my life when I thought I did not see any goodness happening around me, or, let me probably put it this way, I failed to acknowledge the goodness that was happening around me, because my eyes were stuck on the wrong done to me. Amidst all this engulfing bitterness, there was one day that caught my attention the most. That was the day when goodness was out loud and would not allow the evil to steal the peace anymore.  I have been in this situation many time

Hankering happiness pursuit

I planned to write about this topic two days ago, but when I read it, it drew me to a research paper or a book where something was mentioned about happiness a few months ago when I was working on another project. The strength of that argument is very strong, and I think this place is apt to mention it, so I just could not override this urge of mine. I postponed this writing to search for that paper. I have seen old people gather in the parks and intentionally induce laughter, and I thought

When Your students want to become best students of yours

The life of a teacher is full of challenges. Right from the beginning of the day, she has to plan ways to make students learn what might become essentials in their later lives. Many times, even after doing so much, it yields nothing. The output from students is zero. Such moments are shattering. Finding encouragement amidst such moments is very difficult.  One such moment was when my students said, "It is not a university exam." They never studied for those subjects.  Those are the moments when the leader can work miracles. I am lucky enough to have met one such leader in my life. My principal, Madam, is one such person. She knew how students had mistreated me. She planned out the programme well. I organised an AI workshop for those students and made them present, and the students were excited to do that presentation. Yes, a few of the students found it challenging to present the material; they all did. There could be no better moment than this to see your students trying to
