Yak about self (Positively)

In continuation of our previous post on mindfulness for self-compassion, we were talking about becoming aware of every moment that is happening in our lives. How do you become aware of yourself? Big question.  Yes, your answer would be through our senses, which we discussed in our previous post. Now, this sense makes sense only when we interact with the environment. NO??? Let me give you an example A toddler has senses, and she sees a dog and goes to touch it, totally unaware of the harm it might cause. The mother intervenes and tells the child, "Don't touch it; it might bite and hurt you." The child becomes aware and refrains from it. How was this awareness brought? Yes, through conversational interaction.  Sirshree, in her book, Inner Magic: The Power of Self-Talk , she says that man communicates with another man through language and with himself through silence. So, conversation is the medium to connect with another human being. Prayer is the method to connect with God...
