Way to Path of Life

Now, this is the right place- HOW TO FIND THE PATH OF LIFE?

I still remember the day when I left my first job and was reflecting where should I go now? That made me to think the purpose of my life. During that time only I laded up on the book, "The purpose driven life" by Pastor Rick Warren. Since I was searching for purpose, this book seemed to be best solution. I wanted clear cut answers about how my life should be so that I could escape all the uncertain challanges that shakes my life like anything. In simple words, I want a peaceful settled life where my purpose was just one goal.

Yes, that book was quite helpful but it also did not give me a clear cut picture. I is something like how we make a sand house on a moist sand in the beach. We put our foot and pile up the sands and then we smoothen it with our slippers and then we slowly but carefully pull out our foot, the sand house still stands. The purpose of our life is also like that. We wish to create something out of things we have. We gather all the necessary things and see what we can create. If our combinations and timings are good the creation will yield laurals or else it falls apart. This happens only we we put our trust on our own intuition, our own heart, and our own gut feelings. When the author mention these three player, I was complelled to submit to him because what all I did in my life is all based on my intuition, my hearts feelings and my gut feelings. They all have guided me on the path I should walk so that I could make to my final goal. There are many instances when I have dropped a very luicritive offers, looking a fool believing my gut feeling and intuition, only to see the positive rewards today.

In school, I did not take computer science because my teacher was partial. I always regretted that but I think that regret always drew me to computers. Later my brother took animation that fascinated me even more. I learned computers from him. Further, I took biology with maths. That was challenging but I managed it well. For years, I did not understand what was the use of maths in my life. I just wanted to do maths and I did. Today, I see various places in my research to use maths. I also saw the practical usage of mathematics in business studi

My best inspiration had been Thomas Edison. He had no formal schooling, his mother taught him at home. He began his life as a train boy and then a telegraph operator (a mediocre job) but he used this as an opportunity to create automatic repeater which is a radio repeater which is a combination of radio receiver and radio transmitter. This repeater when sited at a high elevation permits communication between two mobile stations that are out of line-of-sight propagation range of each other. This was his first discovery.

Like the author, as he was planning to leave his job, he took all the courses that would keep him in "B" or "I" quadrant of cashflow and become an enterpreuner. I am also doing the same thing. I knew what I am doing but at the same time I was not clear what I should do next. I was trying to change my career and situation but still I was not clear whether I was on right path or not.

So, I also turned towards self-introspection and personal development. The author joined a course for personal development to discover himself. I did this by spending time on myself and reflecting on it. In this personal development class the author was introduced mental, physical, emotional and spiritual development of self. He recollects the crux of the class quoting his teacher's lines as, “To develop into a whole human being, we need mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual education.” I did not had a formal introduction like this but I felt I need to work on all these fields. In fact it all started way before I even knew they need to be developed. We will discuss this further in my next post ""
