Never give up

Nature is my hub to replenish my depleting energy. After a day’s long work or a week of hectic rush, I always love to lay in the arms of mother nature. She has a lot to give and I need a lot to plenish. This is where I communicate with her.

 

Every day of my life always has one or other problems.  There must never be a day when I do not have one. Hah! Now I feel they are my most loyal co-companions. So, instead of getting troubled and anxious of them, I juxtaposed them and started to understand them in a positive way and guess what? To my surprise they came to me with a purpose- with a purpose to build me, with a purpose to give me the threshold push I needed to mature and climb my new levels of success. 

With this understanding, my life had a very different perspective. Now I was not getting depressed or saying words like, "this always happens to me. Why don't I have a peaceful time? What's wrong with me that troubles never leave me?" The answer is I have reprogrammed my mind's channel to a frequency where positivity speaks aloud and this positivity shows me the best opportunities I can reap staying in good attitude with this problem.

The course of the problem doesn't end with this but my way of investigation goes in a different lane that ultimately makes me discover my own hidden strengths which I was unaware till date. With every problem I see a new virtue shining in my medallion declaring that I am moving forward,  I am maturing and I am growing. This is what the principle of life is all about. We need to keep moving and keep growing and keep learning. 

When the main purpose of our life is to keep moving, keep learning and keep growing, why do I get stuck up in the web of anxiety, tension and fear of failures. Get up my friends, it's time to reboot ourselves and think out of the box for which we are being created for. Let us not stop here, a lot has to be created with our creative imagination and a learning version.

We all know a coin always has two faces so do the problems. They too have two faces- one is the dark one which we always see and brook and get captivated in its dark dungeon. The other one is a fair one, a bit jolly and easy going. This version is like the comedy king Charlie Chaplin, who could make you laugh even without speaking a word. This fair one says, no problem if right path is blocked there are still many paths viz- left path (left-sided path, the path which was left), north, south path, east, west path, north-east path, south-west path, up path, down path, lateral path, central path…….and the count seems never ending. Did we try them all? 

So we see that even before trying the first of our all possible solutions, we say our problem is very difficult. This is the thing we all need to change. Never give up until you have tried all the alternatives. If there is a problem- there is also a solution. Did we try all possible ways? If yes, that means this problem is teaching us something new and if not, this problem is calling us to challenge our existing potential and conquer the moment with your true potential.

Pedantic Perfectionism

When I wrote this topic today, everything talked about imperfection. This mental battle between perfectionism and imperfectionism made me understand that we are at the wrong end. Mesmerizing Materialism

When I thought of writing about the game of materialism that plays in our lives, I was immediately drawn to one of the English stories I read, ' The umbrella man ' by Roald Dhal. For all who have forgotten this story, I will give a quick recap. This story talks about a girl and her mother who visited a dentist. While they were returning, it was raining, and they were waiting for a cab when they were approached by an old man. This man asked for a favor by requesting $20 as a taxi fare in lieu of the silk umbrella he had. The mother was usually suspicious of strangers. So she used her first golden rule: "The nicer the man seems to be, the more suspicious you must become." This old man was really nice because he was polite, well-spoken, and well-dressed. Zest O! Zest! Why do you fade in discovering your inner self?

 Ladies, put on your shoes; it's time to face the rows. Once I went to a marriage reception party, and I saw a very beautiful, fair, glowing bride. My heart fell for her glow. In the course of time, I moved out of the city for my studies. On one of my leaves, I happened to meet this bride again. I asked my mom, "Who is she?" and she replied, 'Wife of Mr. X?' Stunned, I stood there. The bride I saw was beautiful, fair, and glowing. This lady had a dark complexion that was no match for the beauty I saw on the day of reception. Practically speaking, I met two people, though both of them reside in the same body.
